Photography

I've been interested in photography since I was a little boy. I got my first camera when I was about 10. That camera didn't last long but some pictures taken with it did - I still have a few snaps I took with it buried somewhere in a cupboard.

Then there was a long pause (for financial reasons) without any camera at all until I was given the Canon Rebel G as a gift from my brother. That rekindled my interest in photography and I even splashed out on a 300mm zoom lens for it. My first digital camera was a Christmas present from Donna - a 2 megapixel Konika Digital Revio. I finally bought a digital SLR in 2005 - the Canon 300D and added a 300mm zoom lens later that year.

I haven't done any film developing, though I would like to give it a go some time. I have however started to print my digital photos using an Epson Stylus Photo R245 printer. I also have an Epson Perfection 2580 Photo scanner which I use to scan old prints and negatives. Most of the photos on this website were taken by me.
